Download curriculum guide PDF Hear what our customers say In the current circumstances, delivering high quality home learning for our pupils has presented many challenges. We have been able to use CENTURY to get a tailored provision that explains concepts clearly and responds intelligently to children’s individual successes and mistakes. CENTURY has proved to be an invaluable resource to our GCSE Resit learners during lockdown. Throughout the past year all learners studying English and maths have followed a personalised pathway on CENTURY, alongside their classroom based provision, but with the closure of colleges this has come into the fore. Having access to substantive online learning has meant that learners were able to continue to improve their skills and knowledge. CENTURY has been great for our pupils: we’ve had 89% engagement in remote learning using the platform, which is much higher than the Sutton Trust published figure of 22% (54% in independent schools). Data has become even more important during the lockdown, using data to highlight strengths and weaknesses. With CENTURY, we have that ability to analyse the data in more depth, something we can use and incorporate with what we already know about our students. We use it in our pupil progress meetings and is a valuable tool that is suitable for tracking and monitoring student progress.
We have been extremely impressed with CENTURY over the lockdown and it has been hugely beneficial to our students and staff to maintain learning in challenging circumstances.
