    CENTURY has been developed by an award-winning team of experienced teachers, neuroscientists and technologists.Together, we have combined the latest research in learning science, artificial intelligence and neuroscience to ensure CENTURY is underpinned by evidence-based scientific and pedagogical techniques.We are proud to work with partners to bring high-quality education to all children around the world.

    Meet the team

    • Priya Lakhani OBE

      Founder CEO

      Barrister and entrepreneur, Priya founded CENTURY in 2013 after being struck by underachievement rates in schools. A frequent keynote speaker and media commentator, Priya is also a co-founder of The Institute for Ethical AI in Education.

    • Gareth Parker

      Chief Technical Officer

      Gareth leads our team of software engineers and data scientists. He works closely with our teachers, neuroscientists and product team to develop new features and makes sure they are built to a high standard.

    • Rahul Bakrania

      Chief Financial Officer

      Rahul oversees Finance at CENTURY. He has years of experience working in top financial roles across various industries and makes sure everything runs smoothly.

    • Tom Thacker

      Chief Operating Officer & Chief Education Officer

      With a background as a school leader in both the UK and abroad, Tom brings years of hands-on educational experience to CENTURY. Passionate about innovation in learning, he ensures the educational integrity of our product while overseeing seamless operations to drive excellence.

    • Fergus Hamilton

      Chief Customer Success & Strategy Officer

      Formerly at BCG and UN World Food Programme, Fergus is responsible for implementation and account management across all CENTURY schools and clients. He also leads company strategy.

    • Charles Wood

      Chief Revenue Officer

      Charles oversees growth and revenue at CENTURY, working closely with a wide range of educational institutions and partners across 70+ countries. He regularly speaks about AI, EdTech and assessments at education conferences.

    • Alice Little

      Chief of Staff & Head of Neuroscience

      Employee number 2 at CENTURY, Alice knows the business and the product like no other. She brings her background in neuroscience to the role and works closely with all CENTURY teams and external partners to bring maximum impact to learners and teachers.

    • Ruben Canhoto

      Director of Design

      Ruben is responsible for designing the look of CENTURY. He works closely with schools, teachers and our neuroscientists to ensure the platform doesn’t just look great but is engaging for students and easy to use.

    • Will Hall

      Director of Business Development & International Sales Manager (EU & Americas)

      A former Head of Maths, Will was jointly responsible for overseeing the development of CENTURY's initial curriculum offering and creating maths content. Now, Will leads partnerships, supporting companies to leverage the power of AI and personalisation and is also responsible for school partnerships across Europe and the Americas.

    • Dan Kador-Davies

      International Schools Manager (Middle East)

      With extensive experience as an Education Consultant based in the United Arab Emirates, having previously worked for companies such as Tes and Pearson, Dan looks after our international schools in the Middle East.

    • Deborah McKenzie

      International Schools Manager (Asia & Oceania)

      Deborah looks after schools across Asia and Oceania. Having worked in schools for over 10 years, she has deep understanding of their needs and challenges, and how CENTURY can be used to address them.

    • Matthew Friend

      UK Partnership Manager (South)

      Matt helps schools and colleges across the South of England to implement new and innovative digital practices. His previous work experience includes schools, education charities and edtech providers, giving him a full appreciation of the education sector.
