Oxford University Press (OUP) has announced today it is collaborating with CENTURY Tech to create a new adaptive learning product as part of Bond’s portfolio.

Bond, OUP’s flagship 11+ preparation brand, has helped millions of children for over 50 years prepare for the 11+, Common Entrance and other selective exams. Bond, which was acquired by OUP in 2013, offers a range of books and online resources to help children practice. Together with CENTURY Tech, the award winning EdTech platform which combines the latest research in learning science, artificial intelligence and neuroscience, they will launch Bond Online Premium and Bond Online Premium Plus in 2023.

Bond Online Premium and Bond Online Premium Plus will include thousands of Bond practice questions, suitable for the Granada Learning (GL) and Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM) exams, as well as school-written tests and other exam boards. Bond Online Premium Plus will be the only test preparation resource endorsed by the Independent Schools Examination Board (ISEB) and will include additional ISEB-specific practice. Bond Online Premium and Premium Plus will also have personalised learning pathways for students with AI-informed recommendations to ensure that the experience is tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Helen Freeman, Director of Early Childhood and Home Education at Oxford University Press, said: “We are delighted to work with CENTURY Tech to expand our heritage Bond portfolio and create an innovative new product which will support even more learners across the world. Our collaboration will enable us to harness Oxford University Press and Bond’s unique expertise in supporting learners, together with CENTURY Tech’s state of the art adaptive technology, to ensure we deliver cutting-edge learning experiences tailored to students’ individual needs.”

Priya Lakhani OBE, Founder and CEO of CENTURY Tech, said: “We are delighted to work with Bond to deliver this innovative new product. Combined with Bond’s gold standard 11+ preparation and practice materials, CENTURY’s artificial intelligence engine will be able to identify with pinpoint accuracy exactly where a pupil is struggling and adapt their preparation accordingly. This will provide a personalised pathway to success in the 11+ for any student, making high quality home learning more cost-effective and affordable than ever before.”
